Your PDF files. Uploaded only so we can convert them. To read scanned pages, files are processed by Microsoft Azure's document-reading service acting on our behalf; Microsoft does not use your documents to train its models. Uploaded PDFs are deleted from our servers within about 6 hours, and converted Word files within about 24 hours; both are also cleared whenever the server restarts. We do not read, sell, or share your documents.
Your email address. Creating an account requires it. We store your email, the date you signed up, and whether you have ever bought credits. We use it to run your account, apply your free credits, deliver receipts, reply to you, and — if you agreed at sign-up — to send occasional product updates and offers. Every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe any time by emailing salaam@nassaakh.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account email such as receipts, security notices, and service changes.
Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
Notes you send us through the contact form — stored so we can read and answer them.
Basic technical records (such as error logs and page counts converted) — kept to run the service, count credits correctly, and fix problems. In your browser: a cookie keeps you signed in and ties a converted file to the visitor who made it. Your credit balance is held on our server, not in your browser. No advertising cookies.
At sign-up you can choose to receive occasional email about new features, tips for working with Arabic texts, and offers. It is a genuine choice — the box is not pre-ticked, and leaving it unticked does not limit your account in any way. We send these ourselves; we do not pass your address to anyone else. Unsubscribe with the link in any such email, or by writing to salaam@nassaakh.com.
Our servers are hosted at Render, in the United States. Document reading happens in the Azure region East US (eastus). If you are in the EU/UK, this may mean your files are processed outside your country; we keep the processing time short and delete files as described above.
Email salaam@nassaakh.com to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional legal rights; we honour reasonable requests regardless of where you live.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for account holders, mention it by email.
